Important!
Do you have to go into debt for your education? We don't think so, and even though PLBC programs of study qualify for Canada and B.C. Student Loans, we do not encourage students to go into debt for their education.

Pacific Life Bible College is one of Canada's most affordable post-secondary educational institutions, thanks largely to the generosity of a network of supporting churches.

Financial Policies

ROOM AND BOARD
Room and board fees are based on students satisfactorily completing three (3) hours of work assignments each week. Students that do not complete their work assignments successfully may be fined, billed for replacement amount, and/or suspended from studies.

All single students under 21 are required to live on campus. Special exception is made for local students living with their parents.

A Damage/Reservation deposit is required to reserve a room, which also serves as a damage deposit ($50 non-refundable).

PAYMENT
Although tuition, books, and fee payments are due the day of registration, room and board can be paid in four equal payments ($100 extra fee) on the first of each month, with the first payment due upon registration. However, we strongly recommend that you pay your entire school bill in advance. This will free you from financial worry during the semester and help you to get the most out of your education.

No student with an unpaid balance remaining can write final exams, participate in LifeLaunch or Tour, or re-enroll in a new semester. All balances must be paid before marks, transcripts, certificates, diplomas or degrees can be issued.

REFUND POLICY
Upon filing an Intent To Withdraw Form with the registrar's office, registered students may, where circumstances warrant, apply for refunds of the un-used portion of tuition, fees and room and board pro-rated on a weekly basis.

Students desiring to move out of the dorm for any reason must give four weeks notice or pay four weeks additional fee from date of notification. Students who have paid in advance will be reimbursed on this basis.

A refund will be granted for tuition and additional fees to students unable to complete a semester, based upon calendar days and the following scale:

Tuition: During the first week of the semester, full refund of tuition charges will be made (less application fee). During the next calendar week of classes, 90% refund will be made, with further refunds decreasing by intervals of 10% per week and no refund after the sixth week. Calculation of the refund depends upon the date of receipt of the withdrawal form in the registrar's office.

Student Activity and Library fees are refunded only within the first two weeks. Students must present written confirmation to the Registrar that classes have been dropped before any refund on fees will be made.
