Associate of Arts in Theology (2 Years)
Program Overview
This two-year (64 credit) program offers an Associate degree in Theology,
giving you a well-rounded background in biblical doctrine and the practical
application of Scripture for our generation. It is designed to take you beyond
merely your own personal development to a place where you are prepared with the
needed skills and confidence to begin ministering to others. The curriculum of
this program comprises the first and second years of the four-year Bachelor of
Arts program, and provides a sound foundation for your future studies.
Program Objectives
It is expected that by the completion of these program requirements the
student will have:
1. Laid a foundation of personal integrity upon which to build a lifetime of
ministry.
2. Nurtured a reliance on the Holy Spirit for guidance, wisdom, purity and power
in their personal life, family, and ministry.
3. Grown in a deeper understanding of Scripture and systematic doctrines.
4. Prepared to maintain a Christian worldview in a secular humanistic
environment.
5. Continued development of ministry skills, applied in the local church and the
student's realm of influence.
